Oriental cockroaches are dark roaches often associated with damp areas. Identification and moisture checks help guide service.
Identification and habits
Adults are dark brown to nearly black. Females have very short wings and males have wings shorter than the body. Damp basements and lower building areas are relevant inspection locations.
What to do at your property
Report leaks, repeated sightings and inaccessible spaces. Keep waste areas clean and discuss monitoring and entry repairs. Do not assume an absence of daytime sightings means the problem is resolved; follow the agreed assessment and follow-up plan.
Photograph the pest clearly and note where and when it appeared. Ask Plank about identification and whether inspection, prevention or selected treatment is appropriate. The service scope and any follow-up are confirmed for your property.
