Asian Tiger Mosquito Identification and Property Tips

Asian tiger mosquitoes are recognizable by contrasting black-and-white markings. Mosquito identification does not establish whether any individual carries a disease.

Identification and habits

A narrow white stripe along the top of the midsection and banded legs are useful identification clues. Similar mosquitoes occur, so clear photographs or a specimen may be needed.
