Cat fleas commonly affect both cats and dogs. Managing a household flea problem requires attention to pets and their surroundings.
Identification and habits
Adults feed on a host, while eggs and developing stages can be present in the surrounding environment. Seeing fleas again does not by itself explain whether new adults are emerging or another source remains.
What to do at your property
Coordinate pet treatment with a veterinarian and property service with Plank. Follow preparation, cleaning and follow-up instructions. Never use a product on a pet unless it is appropriate for that animal and labeled for the use.
Photograph the pest clearly and note where and when it appeared. Ask Plank about identification and whether inspection, prevention or selected treatment is appropriate. The service scope and any follow-up are confirmed for your property.
